Barbeque and Kebabs with Rakesh Nair on Saturday 10th July 2021
Our BBQ and Kebabs Masterclass teaches participants how to use traditional and modern Indian cooking methods to make a range of dishes inspired by the British love of barbecues, with dishes such as barbecued poussin with tomato fenugreek sauce and whole roasted sea bream with green spices. Our Kebabs side teaches participants how to make kebabs using both a traditional charcoal tandoor oven and also equipment available at home. A three-course lunch, showcasing some of the dishes explored in the class and with paired wines, finishes the day perfectly. Our goodie bag comes complete with a signed cookery book, herbs and spices and detailed recipes.
The day starts around 09:30 am with a light breakfast, tea and coffee and an interactive talk from our chefs about Indian cooking and the many different spices. Then the group moves into the kitchen and begins cooking some of the signature dishes of Cinnamon Collection, along with the theme of the masterclass – there is of course a lot of help from our chefs. After all that hard work you are then refreshed with one of our signature cocktails. You are invited to sit at our tandoor grill and enjoy the dishes that you have cooked, along with wine and water.
The day usually wraps up at around 15:00 pm and on leaving, you are presented with a signed copy of one of our cookbooks along with a (hopefully not too dirty!) Cinnamon Kitchen apron.
The cancellation policy is 15 working days prior to the event for a full refund, or we can try and accommodate you in another class. Please note, if you cancel within this time, we will retain the full cost, and your voucher will no longer be valid.
